NAGPUR: Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Congress unit president A Revanth Reddy on Thursday said that every medicine had an expiry date. Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ‘medicine’ would also expire soon. The Chief Minister said that Modi medicine would not work in the country in the coming days.
Revanth Reddy addressed the 139th Congress Foundation Day programme held in Nagpur.
Narendra Modi always boasted about himself as a man with a Chappan ( 56) inch chest. The CM ridiculed the Prime Minister who could not do anything when a common man jumped into the Lok Sabha and created a ruckus in the House.
“Modi ji, you could not stop a common man from jumping into the Parliament,” the Chief Minister said that it was not possible for the PM to stop the Congress from hoisting the flag on the historical Red Fort soon.
Revanth Reddy said that double-engine government meant Adani and Prime Minister. He said that Adani’s engine went to the garage for repair when Rahul Gandhi had raised questions in Lok Sabha .
Similarly, the Prime Minister's engine would also stop working after the launch of Bharat Nyay Yatra by Rahul Gandhi from Manipur to Mumbai this time.
Revanth Reddy exuded confidence that the Congress Party would come to power at the Center with the Bharat Nyay Yatra which was being undertaken by Rahul Gandhi. Congress came to power first in Karnataka and then in Telangana after Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which covered 4,000 KM for 150 days from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Now Rahul's yatra would enter Maharashtra. It was certain that the Congress party would come to power in Maharashtra, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the next 100 days were very crucial for the Congress and its leaders in view of the Parliament elections. Revanth Reddy appealed to the Congress leaders and activists to dedicate these 100 days for the country and the Congress and work hard to bring the Congress party to power.
