HYDERABAD: Actor and politician Prakash Raj, who is likely to play a role in an upcoming anti-BJP and anti-Congress national party, met pro-BJP Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan and reportedly discussed national politics on Thursday.
However, what transpired between the duo seems to be unclear as both the actors had different political agendas.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been constantly lashing out at the central government for the last six months. He is reportedly gearing up to launch a national party, namely the Bharat Rashtriya Samithi (BRS), and hired political strategist Prashant Kishor to assist him with a national agenda. Prakash Raj is also closely associated with KCR.
According to sources, Prakash Raj has also been meeting several leaders from like-minded parties, who are against the BJP policies, to discuss KCR's agenda. He was majorly seeking opinions of leaders of major political parties from the two Telugu states.
