HYDERABAD: TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy on Sunday blamed the State government for the Group-1 exam fiasco and supported the call for highway blockading in support of unemployed youth in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy, while speaking at a round table meeting at Press club Somajiguda, said that TSPSC controversies would have been avoided if the commission had been revamped and deserving individuals were appointed in the commission soon after the incident.

Revanth Reddy openly supported Telangana Jana Samithi(TJS) president Prof. M. Kodandaram's call for highway blockading protests against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekar Rao's apathetic attitude over the issue and said that these protests would pressure Chief Minister Rao to come out of his farm house and respond to the issue.

Revanth Reddy questioned Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao's duty to dissolve the TSPSC board immediately after the TSPSC paper leak incident. He also questioned why Chief Minister KCR did not review the developments of TSPSC.

He said, "It is quite that this government has lost the trust of students and unemployed people. The government has no humanity except politics. The government interefes with the lives of the unemployed and does not care about the unemployed."

Revanth Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister KCR used the Kaleshwaram project as an ATM, his daughter, MLC K Kavitha, used Singareni collieries as an ATM, and his son used TSPSC as an ATM, appointing unqualified candidates who failed Group-I exams in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy said he and former Mahabubnagar MLA A Sampath Kumar would lead a rally in Mahabubnagar district, blocking roads and seeking justice for Telangana's unemployed youth.

"After Congress takes power, we will make appointments as per the job calendar. We will fill 2 lakh government posts in our first year in office. We will keep fighting the final struggle for Telangana under Kodandaram's leadership, which will certainly result in a permanent solution, " said Revanth Reddy.
