3 commissioners of police in city transferred; Srinivas Reddy to Hyderabad, Sudheer Babu to Rachakonda, Avinash Mohanty to Cyberabad

HYDERABAD: Kothakota Srinivas Reddy of the 1994 batch of IPS is the new Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad in place of Sandeep Shandilya, who was made the Commissioner by the Election Commission of India which had transferred C V Anand, CP of Hyderabad, once the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into force. G Sudheer Babu of 2001 batch, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) of Hyderabad is the new CP of Rachakonda and Avinash Mohanty of 2005 batch, currently working as the Joint Commissioner of Police of Cyberabad is made the Commissioner of Cyberabad Police.
Sandeep Shandilya is the new Chief of Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB). Stephen Ravindra (1999 batch) and D S Chowhan (1997) were asked to report in Office of the Telangana DGP.
The Congress Government in Telangana launched its crackdown in bureaucracy. First round of transfers came this morning. All three Commissioners of Police in the city - Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda - transferred. out.
Sandeep Sandilya of 1993 batch of IPS is slated to retire in June 2024.
