Amit Shah, Nadda into action; BJP to fight Bandi Sanjay’s arrest legally, politically
A direction has been given to the party rank and file to organise peaceful protests across Telangana and in Delhi to resent Bandi Sanjay's arrest
NEW DELHI: The tremors of the arrest were clearly felt far away in Delhi prompting BJP bigwigs Amit Shah and J P Nadda to speak to former MLC of the party Ramachandra Rao and enquire about the arrest and the situation.
According to the party sources, a direction has been given to the party rank and file to organise peaceful protests across Telangana and in Delhi to resent Bandi Sanjay's arrest. The party leadership has reportedly given the mandate to the state BJP leaders to do everything possible to fight out the case legally and politically.
Bandi Sanjay's arrest unconstitutional, illegal,: Tarun Chugh
BJP’s national general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh said that Chief Minister KCR had gone berserk and his family, government and BRS leaders were continuously involved in corruption and paper leak case. Instead of investigating them, KCR was playing politics to divert the matter. He strongly condemned the arrest of Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Chugh said that this was a cowardly act by the KCR Government as the BJP had started a campaign against its corruption. He said, "KCR is in panic due to the growing unpopularity of his government. It is acting out of a desperation, despair and vindictive mind and is now resorting to undemocratic and repressive measures to suppress the voice of the BJP."
The BJP would launch a statewide campaign to get the state president released and intensify its campaign against the KCR Government which was deeply involved in corruption.
Chugh said the people of the state were fed up with the rule of KCR and his family in Telangana and the time had come for him to pack up soon and leave.
Making Sanjay as A1 in the case was part of a larger conspiracy to defame the BJP.
KCR didn’t realise that the people of Telangana wouldn't believe it and nail his lies at the hustings.
