At least 7 dead in pharma factory explosion in Nalgonda district

NALGONDA: In one of the major industrial disasters in recent times, at least seven persons were killed in an explosion inside a pharma company in Nalgonda district of Telangana on Wednesday evening. Several others were also reportedly injured amid fears of the death toll going up.

The accident reportedly happened inside the pharma factory unit belonging to the Hetero Group, It is located at Veliminedu of Chityal mandal. According to unconfirmed reports based on the accounts of local people, many people are feared dead and the toll was likely to go up. As reports last came in, the movement into the unit has been restricted. More details are awaited.
