Auto-rickshaw fitness certificate charges to be removed, if BRS voted to power next time, says KCR

MANAKONDURU: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Monday expressed confidence that BRS was going to win with huge majority in the upcoming polls. He stated that three surveys had been conducted to date in the State and all the survey reports revealed that the BRS would win the elections.

Speaking in a public meeting at Manakondur, KCR announced good news for auto-rickshaw drivers. He lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for increasing diesel charges and said that he would abolish the charges paid for getting auto-rickshaw fitness certificate, if the BRS was voted to power for the next time.

KCR said that no person in the Telangana would be homeless and added that, "New houses will be constructed in the next five years. Those who don't have lands will be given lands and those who have lands will be given money for constructing new houses."

Slamming Indira Gandhi’s rule, Rao told the public that many governments had been dissolved, scores of people jailed and labourers migrated to Bombay and other places for livelihood during the Indiramma Rajyam.

The Chief Minister said, "In 2014, when Telangana was formed, our position was quite difficult. So, I called a senior IAS officer GR Reddy who was in Bihar at that time. He is a famous economist and is a native of Huzurabad . I, along with GR Reddy and few other IAS officers, have drawn up many strategies for the development of farmers and other sectors. With each passing day, we have progressed and today Telangana is in number one position. It all happened because of the BRS Government."

BRS president concluded by saying that, "Dalit Bandhu will be implemented in Manakondur just like the way the Government had launched Dalit Bandhu in the Huzurabad constituency. All the Dalit families will be given Dalit Bandhu in no if Rasamayi Balakishan wins the upcoming polls."
