Bandi Sanjay charges KCR with ignoring handloom workers

HYDERABAD: BJP state president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has announced that the government will buy the products of handloom workers as soon as the BJP comes to power in the State. He has said that geo-tagging will be provided for handlooms, and houses will be built and given to all the poor handloom workers who are homeless.
He has alleged that Chief Minister KCR is responsible for the suicides of handloom workers in the State.
Bandi Sanjay made these remarks at a meeting as part of the Praja Sangrama Yatra in Bhoodan Pochampally of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
He further said that whatever program was undertaken for the handloom workers should be done for their survival. He said that the government had the responsibility to take good care of the l handloom workers and made it clear that they were not against the weavers' insurance scheme.
He reiterated that the Praja Sangrama Yatra was being organised to explain the central government schemes to the people and explained that they had come to assure the people of backward classes and weaker sections of a bright future. He said that the BJP was striving to make the lives of the poor better in Telangana.
Bandi Sanjay, taking a dig at KCR, explained that Telangana was realised with the sacrifices of many people and had become beneficial only to the l family of KCR. He asked how many people got double bedroom houses in Bhudan Pochampally and how many youths got jobs and said that five people got jobs in KCR's house alone. He appealed to people to think about "what we have achieved in the state of Telangana, which has been realised with many sacrifices."
Bandi Sanjay questioned why farmers, unemployed youth and handloom workers were committing suicide even after the formation of Telangana state. He said that the Chief Ministers of other states in the country were laughing at KCR's behaviour and asked why he boycotted the NITI Aayog meeting. He remarked that the whole world glorified Prime Minister Modi. He explained that Prime Minister Modi was the leader who could rule without corruption.
