Bandi Sanjay is a disgrace on Karimnagar people; KTR’s fiercest attack on BJP MP
In one of the fiercest verbal onslaughts against Bandi Sanjay, KTR alleged that the Karimnagar MP was speaking shamelessly
HUSNABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao on Friday launched a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana President Bandi Sanjay, claiming that the people of Karimnagar were burying their heads in shame with the obnoxious behaviour of the MP.
KTR addressed a large gathering in Husnabad after inaugurating and laying foundation stones for a slew of development works. In one of the fiercest verbal onslaughts against Bandi Sanjay, KTR alleged that the Karimnagar MP was speaking shamelessly. He cautioned the people about the consequences of electing madcaps like the BJP Telangana chief.
“Today, the people of Karimnagar are facing huge embarrassment due to the uncouth behaviour of Bandi Sanjay. They say (Narendra) Modi is a god. Is he a god for promising two crore jobs and then backtracking on his word to deceive the jobless youths? Or for piling more misery on farmers and jacking up cooking gas cylinder prices to astronomical levels? Please think. This is the heavy price you pay as a consequence for electing madcaps to Lok Sabha. Has this MP (Bandi Sanjay) spent even a single rupee for development works in Karimnagar over the last four and a half years?
“He did nothing but instigate youths with his rabble-rousing. Has he worked for the construction of a school, temple or a university? You should lay the foundation for development and not for violence,” KTR said in a no-holds-barred tirade against the BJP MP. He appealed to the electorate of Karimnagar to elect MLA Satish and BRS nominee for the Lok Sabha seat Vinod Kumar with a thumping majority.
Congress leaders pathetic, can neither mock nor pity them
KTR did not even spare the Congress party during his speech. He ridiculed the Telangana Congress leaders, stating that he was at a loss to either to mock them or simply pity them for their plight. “They are now asking the electorate to give them one chance. We gave them 10 so far. Did they ever ensure electricity and irrigation and drinking water to the people? They plundered and destroyed the state before losing power before being eased out of power. People haven’t yet forgotten their oppressive rule. On the other hand, KCR walked the talk on his promises of bringing water from River Godavari and providing irrigation water to one lakh acres. BRS does not just mean Bharat Rashtra Samithi but it also stands for ‘Bharat Rythu Samithi’,” said KTR.
