BHAINSA: BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday said that he would adopt Bhainsa and ensure the withdrawal of all the cases registered against the BJP cadre. Addressing a public meeting to mark the beginning of the fifth phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra in Bhainsa along with Union Minister Kishan Reddy, he lashed out at the Telangana government in general and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in particular for creating hurdles to the BJP's meetings.

Claiming that the MIM had harassed people of the majority community in Bhainsa, Sanjay alleged that those who were instigating communal hatred in the state were being allowed a free-run while restrictions were being imposed on BJP's programmes. He also vowed that the BJP, when it came to power in the state, would re-christen Bhainsa as Mahisha and safeguard the rights of the majority community.

Bandi Sanjay called upon the people to support BJP in the next elections in the state and advised them to bear with KCR's rule with patience for an year. He announced that the BJP, when in power, would provide free quality education and healthcare to all the deserving people in the state and build pucca houses for the poor. The Karimnagar MP also promised compensation to farmers who lost their crops.

The BJP Telangana chief also took a dig at KCR, claiming that the latter had failed in all aspects. He accused the TRS government of turning a prosperous Telangana into a debt-ridden state.

From Bhainsa, Bandi Sanjay is expected to touch Karimnagar as part of the fifth leg of the padayatra. It will go on for 20 days until December 17, covering a distance of 222 km in five districts, three Lok Sabha constituencies and eight Assembly constituencies.
