BJP to contest alone in Telangana, with Janasena in Andhra Pradesh
Dr. K Laxman, asserted on Thursday that the TRS is in a secret pact with the Congress
HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP leader and member of the BJP parliamentary board MP Dr. Laxman stated that the BJP would work for Telangana's election and emerge as a strong political force in collaboration with Pawan Kalyan's Janasena by cashing on the anti-incumbency against the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh. Responding to a query at a press conference here on Thursday, Dr Laxman said it was being publicised that the TDP and BJP would enter into a truce. However, he asserted that there was no such move as of now. The BJP would contest alone in Telangana and in a pact with Janasena in Andhra Pradesh.
He went on to say that, Instead of taking unnecessary criticism and experiencing humiliation in other states, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao should focus on his duties as an elected chief minister of Telangana State. K Chandrashekhar Rao was literally compelled to end a press conference in Bihar on Thursday, according to Rajyasabha MP Dr. K Laxman, who was criticising the Telangana chief minister's Bihar trip.
At a press conference held on Friday at the BJP state office in Hyderabad, K. Laxman, a former Telangana BJP leader and current member of the BJP parliamentary board, asserted on Thursday that the TRS is in a secret pact with the Congress. The fact that Rao did not mention Rahul Gandhi or the Congress after being questioned by reporters numerous times about the Prime Minister candidate of the Anti-BJP front suggests that TRS is secretly colluding with the Congress party, he further stated.
Dr. K. Laxman of the Telangana BJP asserts that TRS and MIM are allies, and that TRS frequently displays its political savvy while secretly backing Congress.
While praising the development efforts of the Modi administration, Dr. Laxman criticised Telangana chief minister KCR for travelling across the country to meet with opposition leaders when Telangana state is already grappling with a number of problems. To establish an anti-BJP front that makes it apparent that he is openly supporting the Congress party, CM KCR travels to meet with Mamatha Banerjee in West Bengal, MK Stalin in Tamil Nadu, and Nitish Kumar in Bihar. Telangana residents should be aware that by supporting TRS, they are also supporting Congress, and vice versa.
Dr. Laxman urged the people of Telangana to understand KCR's intention to collaborate with the Congress party and support the BJP party, claiming that the latter will always assist Telangana's residents in contrast to KCR's TRS government.
