BJP will demolish Telangana’s new secretariat domes when in power: Bandi Sanjay

HYDERABAD: Following a controversial comment by Telangana Congress Chief A Revanth Reddy that how would it matter if naxalites blew up Pragathi Bhavan, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay too courted a similar controversy on Friday, saying that, if the BJP came to power in the State, it would demolish the domes of the new Secretariat.

Continuing the BJP’s policy of communal politics, Bandi Sanjay said that the dome was not in accordance with Telangana’s culture. “We will destroy the domes and re-build the Secretariat to reflect the true culture of Telangana,” Bandi Sanjay said.

The state BJP President also alleged that the BRS and the AIMIM were promoting each other’s interests in the Assembly. He said that the two parties should compete against each other. “They are demolishing temples on roads in the name of development. If the BRS is brave enough, they should demolish the mosques on Old City’s roads too,” Bandi Sanjay said.
