BJP will provide four gas cylinders to Telangana women free of cost: Amit Shah

MAKTHAL: If the BJP wins power in Telangana, a textile park will be established in Makthal to support weavers, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday.

Addressing a public meeting in Makthal, "The BRS Government has ruined Telangana in 10 years. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), his son IT and industries minister KTR, and his cabinet colleagues have committed thousands of crores of acts of corruption in the last decade. And the upcoming elections will decide Telangana's future, so vote wisely.

Several land-grabbing activities were carried out in Telangana by the local MLAs. KCR promised to build a 100-bed hospital, a government degree college, and a Rs. 3,000 unemployment allowance, but he failed to deliver on his promises said Amit Shah.

Amit Shah cautioned the people of Telangana that their votes for the Congress would be cast for the BRS due to a secret pact between the two parties. He claimed that the Congress had secretly agreed to make KCR as Chief Minister of Telangana and Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister.

Amit Shah said that voting for the BJP and re-electing Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the only way to get rid of KCR. The BJP would appoint a Chief Minister from the Backward Caste (BCs) in Telangana, he added.

"We will provide an equal vertical quota to the Madiga caste. The four percent Muslim reservation will be phased out, while the SC community will receive more reservations. We have decided to give four cylinders to women in Telangana every year for free of cost," the Union Home Minister said. The BJP Government intends to allocate Rs. 1,000 crore for the welfare of Telangana's fisherman community, he added.

Amit Shah claimed that KCR does not observe Hyderabad Liberation Day since he is afraid of the Razakars. The AIMIM controls the steering of the BRS ambassador car, he said. If the BJP voted to power, Telangana Liberation Day would be celebrated every year with great pomp and show as a State celebration, he added.

Amit Shah said that the BJP promised to build Lord Ram temple and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay the foundation for the Ram Temple on January 22, 2024. He further added, "If the BJP forms a Government in Telangana, we will take all of you on a pilgrimage to the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya free of charge."
