HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and MLAs Maganti Gopinath and Danam Nagender visited MLC Kavitha's house to express solidarity in response to BJP workers' attack on MLC Kavitha's residence on Monday.
Senior TRS leaders also condemned the BJP workers' attack on MLC Kavitha's house on Monday evening. According to reports, BJP workers stormed Kavitha's house on Monday evening following the completion of the Vajrotsavam celebrations. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav criticised the BJP workers' behaviour while slamming the BJP workers' protest at MLC Kavitha's house.
While addressing the media, Talasani Srinivas Yadav termed the BJP officials' attack on an MLC's residence a "shameful act". He criticised BJP leaders and district presidents for engaging in such atrocious behaviour and warned that the BJP cadre would not be able to withstand a similar protest by TRS leaders. Furthermore, he claimed that neither their culture nor their chief had ingrained in them these behaviours. He also asserted that neither their culture nor their chief had instilled these kinds of behaviours in them.
The Minister questioned the purpose of the assault on the MLC's house on Monday, stating that such incidents would not be tolerated and that the offenders would face harsh penalties if similar instances occurred again.
Reportedly, the BJP workers stormed the house of Kavitha because she denied the charges by a Delhi BJP MLA about her role in the Delhi State Government's liquor policy. The TRS cadre arrived at Kavitha's house after learning about the situation.
