BRS, BJP workers clash outside MLA Vinay Bhaskar’s camp office in Warangal
BJP activists demanding the fulfillment of all the promises made by the BRS during the 2018 elections gave a call for a dharna at the MLA camp office
WARANGAL: Irate party workers of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised slogans and clashed outside ruling party MLA Vinay Bhaskar’s camp office here on Thursday.
BJP activists, demanding the fulfillment of all the promises made by the BRS during the 2018 elections, gave a call for dharna at the MLA camp office.
BRS workers fought pitched battles armed with sticks and stones when the BJP workers shouted slogans in front of barricades erected outside the MLAs camp office. Police intervened ensured that the situation didn't get out of hand. One of the protestors was grievously injured and was rushed to the government hospital. Police convinced the BRS cadre to retract to the camp office and took few BJP activists into custody.
