BRS leader Dr. Dasoju Sravan exposes Congress shady politics in the Rythu Bandhu distribution

HYDERABAD: BRS senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan on Monday slammed TPCC president A Revanth Reddy and the Congress for obstructing the distribution of Rythu Bandhu assistance to farmers and engaging in shady politics ahead of the Assembly elections in Telangana.

He chastised Telangana Congress leaders for causing hardship to lakhs of farmers for petty political gain. Dasoju Sravan released evidence demonstrating Congress leaders' anti-farmer activities, describing how Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders ruined the lives of Telangana farmers.

Dr. Dasoju Sravan slammed the Congress and assured farmers that Chief Minister KCR would ensure the disbursement of the Rythu Bandhu amount as the first initiative as soon as he wins a third term on December 3, 2023.

"The anti-farmer policies and activities of the Congress party have been once again exposed with the obstruction of Rythu Bandhu disbursals. It is extremely unfortunate and inhuman that TPCC president Revanth Reddy and Telangana Congress leaders are playing havoc with the lives of Telangana farmers for petty politics. Rabandu (vulture) Revanth Reddy and his team members have stopped the disbursal of the Rythu Bandhu amount into farmers accounts, ignoring the simple fact that farmers need to be kept out of politics. Telangana Congress will have to pay a heavy price for hurting lakhs of farmers," said Dr. Dasoju Sravan.

"While Chief Minister KCR has been taking utmost care of farmers and did all in his capacity to ensure that the Rythu Bandhu amount for Yasangi season is disbursed without any hindrance due to elections, the Congress party has approached the Election Commission and stopped it. The Congress party is unable to digest the fact that the Chief Minister KCR has turned difficulties-ridden agriculture into a sought-after activity in Telangana and earned a permanent place in farmers' hearts. By stopping Rythu Bandhu disbursal, Congress cannot stop the BRS from coming back to power for the third time or removing KCR from farmers' hearts," said Dr. Dasoju Sravan.

"Former TPCC president and MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with Telangana Congress incharge Manik Rao Thakre, approached the Election Commission of India in October, urging them to stop the Rythu Bandhu scheme. TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has written a letter to the EC requesting to stop the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Recently, even TPCC senior vice president Niranjan has complained about Rythu Bandhu. It is pitiable that the Congress party has sabotaged the lives of lakhs of farmers for petty politics," explained Dr. Dasoju Sravan with proof of how Congress leaders obstructed Rythu Bandhu amount disbursals.

"Anti-farmer Congress has been obstructing KCR's farmers' friendly initiatives right from the beginning. Congress leaders filed cases against irrigation projects constructed by Chief Minister KCR. Spread lies about the Kaleshwaram Project. Revanth Reddy has mocked the 24-hour free power supply to agriculture. I made jokes about Rythu Bheema. Now Congress has sabotaged even Rythu Bandhu, citing elections. Revanth Reddy is trying to permanently remove Rythu Bandhu by creating a rift between landowners and tenant farmers. Telangana people should be alert to Congress's crooked tactics and teach them a lesson when they come to villages asking for votes," said Dr. Dasoju Sravan.
