HYDERABAD: BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy criticised the BJP-led NDA government at the center for meting out injustice to Telangana in the union budget.

Speaking to the media at the Assembly Media Point alongside MLA KP Vivekananda, Kaushik Reddy expressed disappointment over the allocation of Rs 15,000 crores to neighboring Andhra Pradesh while giving nothing to Telangana. He questioned the contribution of the MPs from the two national parties elected from the state, who failed to secure even a single rupee for Telangana.

Kaushik Reddy stated that BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao is the only savior for Telangana. He asserted that the BRS would confront the Congress and BJP on the budget in the Assembly.

Further, he mentioned that the BRS would question the Congress government on the implementation of six guarantees, including the promise of a one-time loan waiver of Rs 2 lakhs. He claimed that Revanth Reddy was making false claims through newspaper advertisements of waiving off all crop loans, while in reality, a majority of farmers were yet to receive the benefit.

BRS MLA Vivekananda expressed anger over the failure of Congress and BJP, who won eight seats each in the state, to bring even eight rupees to Telangana. He pointed out that despite the central government creating obstacles and withholding funds during the BRS regime, KCR single-handedly developed Telangana with its own resources. He alleged that the BJP at the center has not given a single rupee to the state in ten years.

Vivekananda accused Revanth Reddy of enacting a 'new drama' after making numerous promises. He questioned the Chief Minister's 18 visits to Delhi before the budget to meet with BJP ministers, which yielded no funds for the state. He criticised the new drama surrounding the Assembly resolution after earlier pronouncements. He asserted that BRS is no stranger to facing political conspiracies by Revanth Reddy. He accused both national parties of being unfair to Telangana. He questioned why the Congress party remained silent on Telangana's rights during the all-party meeting, where the focus was on the rights of the neighboring state, Andhra Pradesh.
