BRS nominates Shambhipur Raju as its Malkajgiri Lok Sabha candidate

HYDERABAD: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has declared the Member of the Legislative Council, Medchal Malkajgiri District BRS President Shambhipur Raju as its Malkajgiri Lok Sabha candidate here on Tuesday.

Sunkari Raju who later changed his name to Shambhipur Raju was born to Anjaneyulu and Vinoda on January 4, 1980. Active in Telangana agitation, he was picked up by K Chandrashekar Rao for party activity in Qutbullapur. Later his stature in the party grew after KT Rama Rao returned from the USA in 2006 and joined the agitation.
