SANGAREDDY: Let the opposition parties change party presidents or induct outdated leaders from other parties, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), is bound to score a hattrick by winning the ensuing elections, State Finance Minister T Harish Rao said.

Addressing a public meeting in Patancheru of Sangareddy district after inaugurating several newly built government buildings worth Rs 10 crore on Monday, Harish Rao pointed out that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government at the Center repeatedly deceived the State by not releasing the required funds.

“In fact, the BJP is biased against the southern states. All it gave was inflated and empty promises. They took away the coach factory that was promised for Telangana,” Harish Rao pointed out.

The Finance Minister also wanted to know if BJP-ruled states were implementing projects such as Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi and KCR Kits.

Harish Rao said that the Patancheru constituency. which was once engulfed by industrial pollution, has now recovered under the leadership of MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy. He added that soon Patancheru would become yet another hub for IT services in the State.

He reminded the people that it was KCR, who granted a medical college for Sangareddy and a 200-bed hospital for Patancheru. “Unlike the BJP, we work in tandem with the aspirations of the people,” he said adding that metro rail would be extended up to Patancheru immediately after winning the ensuing elections.
