BRS to perform milk abhishekam for Telangana Talli statues across the state

HYDERABAD: The BRS party has announced plans to perform milk abhishekam for Telangana Talli statues across the state on Tuesday.

This decision came in response to the proposal to unveil a statue of Rajiv Gandhi in place of Telangana Talli at the Secretariat by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao urged people from all constituencies in Telangana to participate.

KTR condemned the installation of Rajiv Gandhi's statue at a location reserved for Telangana Talli, calling it a political move that insulted the legacy of Telangana Talli. He criticised Revanth Reddy’s stance, accusing him of disrespecting the sentiments of Telangana people. He stated that the people of Telangana would teach a lesson to both the Congress party and Revanth Reddy for hurting their emotions.

The BRS party emphasised that no one who disrespects Telangana’s identity can survive in politics.
