HYDERABAD: During the budget discussion in the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Saturday, former minister Harish Rao made some interesting remarks. He requested that the screen display their speeches while they were speaking.

Harish Rao alleged that the cameras were not turned towards them when BRS MLAs were speaking. He also mentioned that recently, even Rahul Gandhi was not shown on cameras while speaking in Parliament. He urged that such practices should not be followed here as well.

Responding to Harish Rao's comments, Speaker Gaddam Prasad clarified that there was no such discrimination and that everyone was being shown on camera. He assured that there was no bias in the coverage.

Harish Rao criticised the Congress Government in Telangana, describing it as directionless. He claimed that the budget discussion was focused solely on criticising the BRS and lacked any substantial achievements from the past eight months of state governance. He accused the budget of ignoring the realities and being targeted solely at the BRS.
