Dornakal: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Monday said, "We have never seen water in canals before the BRS Government came to power. Dornakal canals were filled with weed. No one ever expected that the Vennavaram project will be completed but today, under our Governance, all the pending projects have been completed. All Dornakal agricultural lands are being irrigated with Vennavaram canal waters. All the canals are full of water."

Addressing a Praja Ashirvada Sabha meeting in Dornakal on Tuesday, KCR asked people to choose leaders wisely. "The five-year future of the State is in the hands of people. I urge the voters to make a wise choice by distinguishing between a stone and a gem," he said.

KCR accused the Congress leaders of making baseless comments in public and claimed that they were not concerned about the development of the State.

"Telangana will be able to produce nearly 4 crore tonnes of paddy if the Sita Rama and Palamuru project is completed," he said.

The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of BRS leader Redya Naik and urged the public to vote for him. He also said that Redya Naik never asked for any personal help but always strived hard for the welfare of the thandas and villages.

KCR expressed confidence that seeing the huge response from the meeting, he said that Redya Naik would win with a big majority from Warangal.
