Car plunges into pond during driving lesson in Jangaon, both occupants safe

Jangaon: A driving lesson went awry in Jangaon town in Telangana when a car plunged into a pond.

The incident occurred near Bathukamma Kunta, where one person was teaching another how to drive. Both individuals were trapped inside the vehicle, but quick action from local residents led to their safe escape.

According to reports, the mishap happened when the trainee driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The car then shot forward and fell into the nearby pond. Locals, who witnessed the event, immediately rushed to help. They instructed the duo to swim out of the car. However, the vehicle’s doors were stuck, forcing both individuals to escape through the windows.

Thankfully, both men swam safely to the shore. Witnesses remarked that had the car gone any deeper, the situation could have been fatal. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, drawing significant attention.
