Children in Qutubullapur approach police seeking protection from stray dogs
Children in Kompally, Qutubullapur, marched to the police station to complain about the stray dog menace and the inaction of municipal authorities.
HYDERABAD: A group of children from various colonies in Kompally, Qutubullapur, took their plea for protection from stray dogs to the Pet Basheerabad police station.
The children complained that despite repeated appeals to the authorities, the stray dog menace in their colonies remained unaddressed, causing them fear and anxiety. They alleged that the dogs roam freely in their colonies, often chasing and attempting to bite residents. They expressed their disappointment over the inaction of the Kompally municipal commissioner and chairman, demanding action against them.
The sight of numerous children approaching the police station to lodge a complaint against the municipality has sparked outrage among many, who questioned the municipality's negligence in ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents.
The children held placards appealing to various authorities, including Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the commissioner, and local MLA Vivek, to intervene and ensure their safety from the stray dog menace.
