Congress conspired against farmers to stop distribution of Rythu Bandhu: Harish Rao reacts on ECI's order
Harish Rao appealed to the people and farmers of Telangana to understand the conspiracies of the Congress.
HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Harish Rao has blamed the Congress for the Election Commission of India's (ECI) decision to revoke permission for distribution of Rythu Bandhu to farmers after initially granting permission.
Speaking during his campaign in Zaheerabad on Monday, Harish Rao said, "Congress party's conspiracy against Telangana farmers and Rythu Bandhu has been exposed once again. They are conspiring to prevent farmers from getting help. Even after the ECI gave permission to distribute Rythu Bandhu, the Congress did not give up on its effort to stop it."
Harish Rao appealed to the people and farmers of Telangana to understand the conspiracies of the Congress.
The ECI on Monday withdrew the permission to disburse money to farmers under the Rythu Bandhu, citing violation of the model code of conduct. The poll panel blamed BRS star campaigner T Harish Rao of violating the poll code by saying that the scheme amount would be credited in the bank accounts of farmers from November 28 during a campaign on November 25.
