Congress leaders to build temple for CM Revanth Reddy, bhoomi puja on March 19!

HYDERABAD: In what could be considered as heights of sycophancy, Congress cadres have decided to build a temple for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

The Reddy Sangham is sponsoring the construction of the temple for Revanth Reddy. The bhoomi puja or ground breaking ceremony would be held at 9 am in Vanipakala village in Chityala mandal of Nalgonda district on March 19, 2024. The association leader Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy is going to organise the proceedings on that day.

Sharing the decision to construct the temple, Medi Santosh, a Congress leader from Suryapet who is also a representative of the Sangham, said, "Revanth Reddy is involved in various developmental activities and is in touch with the public. Just like how God fulfills our wishes, Revanth is fulfilling the wishes of the public. We consider Revanth Reddy as 'God of Telangana'. We will stand by him. We are lucky to get a chance and is better to build a temple for him than praying to God whom you cannot see."

Revanth Reddy would be main idol in the temple. Santosh has appealed to Congress leaders to attend the bhoomi puja in large numbers.
