HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy has said that the Congress is giving appropriate recognition to those who have worked for the party. He added that nominated posts had already been given to some members and assured to distribute more posts soon.
Addressing at PEC meeting held at the Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Revanth Reddy said that the members were also informed that posts were being given like never before, with the chairmen of all affiliated societies already appointed. A resolution was passed congratulating members of the Rajya Sabha, MLCs, advisors, and those who have received nominated posts.
He said that the party was gearing up for the Janajatara Sabha at the Rajiv Gandhi premises in Tukkuguda on April 6, which would focus on expanding the campaign of the 5 Nyay Guarantees in the AICC manifesto which would include pending work related to Telangana at the Centre. The Chief Minister said that manifesto committee, headed by Sridhar Babu, had been tasked with providing suggestions.
Revanth Reddy said that Assembly and Parliament constituency incharges would soon be appointed, with campaign programmes being planned for the upcoming elections. He said the Congress was confident about their chances in the state and aims to win a majority of seats.
He said that the national leadership has praised the Telangana model governance and the party is optimistic about achieving good results in the elections.
