HYDERABAD: The Congress Government which has changed the vehicle registration from TS to TG and embarked on changing the State's official emblem, 'Telangana Talli' and song, now has its eye on the history of Telangana.
While there is no one to confirm why the Telangana history page was removed from the Telangana Government's official website, the common belief is that the Government might change the history of Telangana as per its perception and understanding.
According to sources, the page was shut down temporarily following the instructions from the CMO. The Congress Government also saw to it that hundreds of YouTube videos were removed from that platform only because they depicted the earlier BRS Government and the then CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in good light.
The Chief Minister who took an oath to erase the memories of KCR from the face of the earth while speaking in the State Assembly might be rewriting the history. The Congress would hide the delay in granting Telangana, the lives that their indifference had taken, and also the struggle that the BRS undertook to achieve statehood in the new history.
