CWC to meet in Taj Krishna, public meeting at Tukkuguda on September 17
A delegation of senior party leaders led by Revanth Reddy met the Director General of Police Anjani Kumar and requested him to provide adequate and tight security for the three-day event
HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy on Friday said that the newly constituted Congress Working Committee (CWC) would meet in Hyderabad on September 15 and 16 at Taj Krishna and the public meeting would be held at Tukkuguda on September 17.
A delegation of senior party leaders led by Revanth Reddy met the Director General of Police Anjani Kumar and requested him to provide adequate and tight security for the three-day event attended by the most senior national level leaders of the party from all over the country.
Later, Revanth Reddy said that the party would organise the public meeting on a massive scale despite the denial of Secunderabad Parade Grounds by the BRS Government at the behest of the BJP. “We will organise the public meeting at Tukkuguda grounds. The Chief Minister must act in a dignified manner and ensure the smooth conduction of the event without a hitch,” Revanth said.
