Dasoju Sravan lauds KCR for concern for BRS workers; distributes Insurnace cheques
Besides distributing cheques, TRS office bearers also renewed the BRS members life insurance for the year 2023-24
HYDERABAD: BRS senior leader and official spokesperson Dasoju Sravan has hailed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as the most humane and responsive party founder who takes utmost care about the cadre. He made these comments while distributing financial aid cheques to the family members of the deceased party workers at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Dr Sravan interacted with the family members of late party workers and assured them that the BRS party leadership would take care of them in every possible way. Besides distributing cheques, TRS office bearers also renewed the BRS members life insurance for the year 2023-24 on the occasion. Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy, MLA Hari Priya, former MLC Srinivas Reddy, Telangana Dairy Chairman Soma Bharat Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
"It is very unfortunate and a life shattering experience to lose a family member. The experience will be even more devastating when that person is the head of the family or a sole bread winner. Sensing this, KCR has introduced life insurance for all the TRS party members. He is so concerned about party workers welfare that, premium is paid by party leadership for all the party members. No other political party founder or chief has shown, so much concern for their party workers. KCR is the most humane and responsive party founder and leader in India," pointed out Dr Dasoju Sravan speaking at Telangana Bhavan, before distributing financial aid to the families of deceased party members.
"TRS has about 60 lakh members and due to the concern and vision of KCR, all of them are insured. Premium amount of Rs 25.54 Cr is being towards party members life insurance for the 2023-24. KCR has put in place such a smooth mechanism for party members insurance that, just a call to the party office from the affected families, will ensure that their insurance amount will be disbursed. BRS party has a dedicated team to oversee the party members insurance procedures," further said Dr Sravan, explaining KCR's concern towards cadre.
"Not just BRS party members, CM KCR has shown same concern towards all the people in state. He has ensured that a majority of population are covered with life insurance through one scheme or other. Farmers, weavers, toddy tappers, construction workers and several other groups have been covered with insurance with premium paid by government. For instance, under Rythu Bima, government pays the premium, while the insurance claim amount is remitted to the account of the nominee of the insured farmer within one week to 10 days of the death of the farmer. A life insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh is provided to each farmer. Over 41.04 lakh farmers would be covered under Rythu Bima during 2023-24 and an amount of Rs.1,477 crore was paid towards insurance premium by BRS Govt . Rythu Bima is being distributed to all farmers, irrespective of their political affiliations," further explained Dr Dasoju Sravan, highlighting KCR Govt's focus on insurance.
