HYDERABAD: In separate cases, two more farmers died by suicide due to debt and financial problems.

Mote Raju, 37, a farmer from Kondapur village in Jangaon district's Chilpuru mandal, succumbed to death after consuming insecticide. Raju had taken a loan of Rs 5 lakh for crop cultivation but was unable to repay it, leading to immense financial strain.

In a separate incident, 35-year-old Kallem Lingaiah from Baswapur village in Bhupalapally district's Kataram mandal took his own life in a similar manner. Lingaiah was burdened with debts amounting to Rs 4 lakhs and was reportedly struggling to support his family. He died while undergoing treatment after consuming insecticide.

Police have registered cases and began the investigation.
