Delhi Liquor Scam: BRS MLC K Kavitha arrives at ED office for interrogation

DELHI: BRS MLC Kalvakuntala Kavitha arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday, where she will be interrogated by ED officials about the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

According to reports, BRS and Bharat Jagruti activists gathered in huge numbers at her residence before her departure to express their solidarity. Security was intensified, and Section 144 was implemented near the ED's office.

Her husband Anil accompanied her to the ED. However, just Kavitha and her two gunmen were permitted inside. Her husband Anil and the advocates were barred at the main gate itself.

BRS supporters flocked to Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief KCR's residence on Tughlaq Road in Delhi, shouting slogans in favour of Kavitha Kalvakuntala. She showed her fist before entering the ED office, symbolising her fight against the charges.

Kavitha is expected to be questioned until 5 p.m. on Saturday, and her statements would be recorded on the same day. She would be questioned about the case's missing links.
