Differently-abled pension in Congress-ruled Chattisgarh Rs 200, in Modi’s Gujarat Rs 600 in KCR’s Telangana Rs 4,016: KTR

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao at a thanksgiving meeting by differently-abled persons in Telangana Bhavan on Thursday urged them to motivate at least 10 more persons to vote for BRS in the ensuing elections.

“Disability is for the physical body but not the mind. So you have to differentiate between the BRS, the Congress, and the BJP. In nine and half years we spent Rs 10,300 crore on disabled pension benefitting 5.65 lakh persons,” he said.

In Chattisgarh, the disability pension was Rs 200, for 1.25 lakh people, in Gurarat the pension for 47,034 disabled ranged from Rs 600 to Rs 1,000 that too based on the degree of disability, KTR said adding that in Karnataka the pension was Rs 1,100.

“So don’t get cheated when Congress says that they would give Rs 4,000 pension,” KTR said. Ensliting various programmes implemented by the BRS Government in Telangana he said that differently abled in the State were receiving Rs 2.25 lakh under Kalyana Lakshmi shadi Mubarak schemes, 1.25 lakhs three-wheelers, scooters, 2.75 lakh battery chairs and cycles, 3 to 4 percent reservation in jobs, 5 percent reservation in 2 bhk houses, Brailey textbooks, laptops and I-pads and 5G smartphones for hearing impaired

“We will do more. No other Government did this for you because KCR stood like a backbone for you. You never asked but he gave. In the decennial festival, he hiked the Rs 3,000 pension to Rs 4,016. After KCR becomes CM for the third time he will increase it to Rs 6,016

Holding the Congress responsible for rendering 1.5 lakh innocent children handicapped due to fluride in Nalgonda, he wanted to know why the Congress must be given yet another chance. “We have elected them eleven times and they deprived us of drinking water, irrigation, employment and pension, why would we give them one more chance,” he asked.

Ridiculing the statements of the Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, KTR said that he wondered how the scions of the Nehru clan talk about family rule in Telangana.

“I wonder how Rahul allege Rs 1 lakh crore corruption in Kaleswharam when the project cost was only Rs 80,000 crore. Then he talked about corruption with Revanth Reddy standing next to him,” KTR said

Given the chance the cash-for-vote scamster would sell the grand old party, Revanth paid Rs 50 crore for the TPCC position, KTR alleged. “Why don’t Rahul consult his own Telangana team, they will tell him how Revanth is charging Villas and plots in return for the nominations,” KTR said.

Congress is Chor Team

Coming heavily on the Congress that called BRS the B Team of the BJP, he said that Congress was nothing but a C (Chor) team that was involved in A to Z of scams.

Branding Revanth as a covert of BJP in Congress he cautioned Congress that one day Revanth Reddy would migrate to BJP with the few MLAs in hand. “You gave Gandhi Bhavan to Godse,” he said.

KTR said that only under the BRS-ruled Telangana schemes covering every stage of a person's life were implemented. “Except for Cooking and cleaning the face, rest is taken care of by us,” KTR said in a lighter vein. Later he released a song encompassing the various welfare schemes implemented by the BRS Government for the differently abled persons in the State.
