DSC-2008 applicants demand jobs, stage demonstration at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Several applicants of DSC 2008 who have been eternally waiting for jobs on Tuesday came in large numbers to Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan.

They have been demanding that they should be provided jobs, as they were waiting for the last 16 years.

Over 300 people from all over the State came to Praja Bhavan demanding jobs.

They claimed that the State High Court had directed the State Government to give them jobs and even Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had assured them of providing jobs to them earlier.

The government was claiming that it have appointment letters to about 30,000 people since it had assumed office. There were 1,000 people waiting for the DSC 2008 jobs for the last 16 years. They demanded that the Chief Minister should intervene and resolve their problem.
