ECI transfers Hyderabad Task Force DCP Radha Kishan Rao

HYDERABAD: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has transferred Hyderabad Task Force Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) P Radha Kishan Rao. He was serving as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for the Task Force for the last four years after his retirement.

In September 2020, the State Government extended the service of Radha Kishan Rao for three more years. Two months ago, the State Government once again extended his services for the second time. Apart from that, the State Government also gave postings to a few IPS officers.

Warangal Commissioner of Police AV Ranganath and Suryapet SP Rajender Prasad who were transferred by the ECI on October 11, now were posted as Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA) joint director and TSPA deputy director. K Srinivasa Reddy was appointed as Crime Investigation Department (CID) SP and Venkateswarulu appointed as Greyhounds SP.

In Hyderabad, the State Government appointed Nitika Pant as DCP Task Force Hyderabad and B Rohit Raj appointed as DCP South East Zone. While Chetana Mylabhatula appointed as DCP Peddapalli, B Balaswamy posted as DCP South West Zone and Tarun Joshi posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda.
