Election Commission postpones counting of Mahabubnagar MLC polls
The counting now would take place on June 2, 2024 which is after the completion of voting for the Parliament elections.
HYDERABAD: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has postponed the counting of the Mahabubnagar MLC polls which was scheduled to be held on Tuesday. The ECI stated that in view of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in place for the Lok Sabha elections, the counting should be postponed as it could influence the Parliament elections.
The counting now would take place on June 2, 2024 which is after the completion of voting for the Parliament elections.
