Former Finance Minister and BJP MLA from Huzurabad Assembly Constituency Etala Rajender on Sunday called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
HYDERABAD: Former Finance Minister and BJP MLA from Huzurabad Assembly Constituency Etala Rajender on Sunday called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
In their interaction, Shah reportedly discussed the issues pertaining to the political situation on the ground in Telangana. He advised Rajender to work for enthroning the BJP in Telangana.
It is learnt that Shah specially summoned Rajender to discuss the State-specific issues.
He also discussed the idea of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to float a national party. Rajender was KCR's right hand man for a long time and especially during the Chief Minister's earlier overtures of nursing national ambitions.
The popular mood and sentiment and how the people would react to this were said to have been discussed threadbare.
Rajender gave his views on the strengths weaknesses of the TRS in general and KCR in particular.
The Home Minister also reportedly enquired about the violence that erupted at Secunderabad Railway Station led by the army job aspirants.
