Failure to tell people work done led to BRS's defeat, introspect and defeat Congress: KTR
Calling upon BRS leaders to spread the news of the good work done by the KCR Government, KTR said that the inability to explain the work done has led to defeat in the Assembly election.
HYDERABAD: Calling upon Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders to spread the news of the good work done by K Chandrashekar Rao’s Government, party working president KT Rama Rao said that the inability to explain the work done has led to defeat in the Assembly election.
He said this while addressing the Nalgonda Parliamentary Constituency cadre meeting on Monday. “Yesterday KCR was in erstwhile Nalgonda and the response was spontaneous. I wondered how come we lost here in the Assembly elections,” KTR observed.
KTR said that while the BRS Government gave 1.62 lakh jobs which was a record, Revanth Reddy gave appointment orders for 30,000 jobs that the KCR Government had completed processing.
He said that the BRS had sought the help of Osmania University scholars to scrutinise the defeat and he said that he was shocked to note that the party leaders failed to convince people on the work done by the KCR Government.
“Why tribal hamlets did not vote. The OU research team studied the conditions and reported after two months. The youth believed we gave no jobs. They went around Hyderabad and canvassed. 70 percent of Government employees were angry even as KCR ensured that their emoluments were hiked by 73 percent,” KTR pointed out.
He said that many Government employees voted against the BRS for not releasing salaries on the first of every month despite knowing that the Government did not fully recover from the Corona impact.
“KCR did the best for the farmers. But the fault is not of the people but our leaders. We failed KCR. Now we must defeat the Congress, otherwise their 100 days of lies would sink the people of Telangana,” KTR said.
Assuring Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy that the BRS had no intention to destabilise his Government, KTR cautioned him to be careful with leaders of his party from Khammam and Nalgonda.
