Fire breaks out at new Telangana secretariat
The fire scorched the building from 2:30 am to 4:30 am. According to sources, around 11 fire engines put the fire under control
HYDERABAD: Just two weeks before the grand opening of the new Telangana secretariat in Hyderabad, fire broke out at the building in the early hours of Friday.
Reportedly, the fire started on the ground floor at 2:30 am. It spread to the first floor of the humungous secretariat. The cause of the fire was still unknown and fire officials were carrying out an investigation.
The fire scorched the building from 2:30 am to 4:30 am. According to sources, around 11 fire engines put the fire under control.
There were scrap materials and air conditioning ducts on the two floors. There were no casualties reported.
