First Governor of Telangana ESL Narasimhan calls on Revanth Reddy
Narasimhan who was the Governor of neighbouring Chhattisgarh was given the additional charge of Andhra Pradesh when Telangana agitation was at its peak.
HYDERABAD: Former Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat here on Saturday. Revanth Reddy honoured the former Governor with a shawl and a bouquet.
Narasimhan served as the first Governor of Telangana. Narasimhan who was the Governor of neighbouring Chhattisgarh was given the additional charge of Andhra Pradesh when Telangana agitation was at its peak. He assumed office as the Governor of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh on December 28, 2009, and continued until July 23, 2019, making him the longest-serving Governor of the state.
