Five-member Committee to suggest changes to Dharani portal

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government has formed a five-member committee to resolve issues faced by the public in Dharani portal.

Congress has appointed senior leader M Kodanda Reddy, retired IAS officer Raymond Peter, advocate Sunil, former deputy collector Madhusudan and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) as member convenor of this committee.

This committee would prepare a report on the problems faced by public in Dharani portal and offer solutions in a report to the Government "at the earliest".

After coming to power, the Chief Minister xdecided to appoint a high-level committee to evolve guidelines for permanent resolution of long pending land disputes across the State. The committee was told to suggest measures to permanently resolve the complaints that were being raised by the landowners since the inception of Dharani.
