HYDERABAD: Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagwat has exhorted the youth who are appearing for police jobs to eschew social media and focus on l subjects.
He distributed free Telugu and English medium study material for police sub-inspector and constable examinations which is to be held in August on Saturday. The exam would admit the aspirants into the free pre-recruitment coaching centre at Bharath Engineering College in Ibrahimpatnam. This was taken up by the Rachakonda Police as an initiative to recruit unemployed youths into the police department.
The CP advised the aspirants to gain command over all the subjects and cover the entire syllabus and gave many tips and tricks to gain overall knowledge of all subjects in less time. He said that this would be possible if the students avoided using social media and focused on their preparation by making a daily schedule. He said that students should have noble desires and motivated the aspirants to work hard and achieve their dreams.
Laying emphasis on the efforts of the Police department in keeping the society peaceful and welcomed the aspirants to join with the same vigour.
He also told the aspirants to take daily and weekly tests which were being conducted in the training centre and elaborated on how classroom tests would help them evaluate their knowledge and speed.
He mentioned that a majority of aspirants who were recruited in the Rachakonda Police commissionerate were from Ibrahimpatnam and hence the Bharat Engineering college was chosen for the coaching. He gave examples of candidates who had taken the exam and were now recruited into the force.
The CP commended PJR institute and faculty for associating with Rachakonda Police to help unemployed youths get into the Police department and stated that the pre-recruitment training would continue till the mains examinations. The aspirants who cleared the preliminary written exam would be given mentorship to qualify in physical efficiency tests which would be conducted prior to the main examination.
Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police Laxminarayana, Assistant Commissioner of Police Umamaheshwar Rao, ACP Bhaskar, Inspector Saidulu of Ibrahim patnam and other officers of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate also participated in the study material distribution programme.
