NALGONDA: Former Minister G Jagdish Reddy has accused the Congress Government of compromising Telangana's interests by handing over control of Krishna River projects to the Centre.
Responding to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's allegations, Jagdish Reddy on Sunday claimed that Revanth Reddy was targeting former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to divert attention from his failures. He predicted that the people would teach the Congress party a fitting lesson for the injustice its government had done by handing over Krishna projects to the Centre.

Speaking to the media in Nalgonda, Jagdish Reddy stated that the Chief Minister succumbed to the Central Government's trap, leading to the transfer of projects. He argued that this action by the Congress Government was a severe injustice to the state in the matter of Krishna waters.
Referring to Congress leaders as the true betrayers of Telangana, Jagdish Reddy said that the BRS would expose the Congress Government in the upcoming Assembly session. He claimed that Congress leaders were already apprehensive about facing former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the Assembly, and their unease is evident even before he speaks.
