HYDERABAD: Protesters affected by GO 317 surrounded Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, demanding immediate action from the Congress leadership. The protest led to a significant deployment of police forces, and traffic was heavily disrupted as demonstrators staged a sit-in on the road.
The protesters insisted that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy keep his promise of resolving the GO 317 issue within 48 hours of coming to power. They demanded that the government create supernumerary posts and issue orders allowing GO 317 victims to be transferred back to their respective local districts.
The demonstration continued with slogans and appeals for action, causing heavy traffic congestion in the surrounding areas. Authorities were seen attempting to manage the crowd and restore normalcy as the protest persisted.
