Godavarikhani Singareni quarter demolition victims meet KTR

HYDERABAD: Victims of the Singareni quarter demolitions in Godavarikhani met with BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao to seek justice.

They displayed placards accusing Ramagundam MLA Raj Thakur Makkhan Singh of doing atrocities. The victims explained to KTR that the Singareni quarters were demolished under the pretext of developing the Lakshmi Nagar Shopping Complex.

The victims reported that electricity and water supplies to 82 quarters were cut off, causing significant hardship before the demolitions. They requested KTR to discuss the injustice they faced in the Assembly.

KTR responded positively to their plea and assured that he would fight for them till they get justice.
