Governor Tamilisai assents bill on absorption of TSRTC employees into Govt service
Tamilisai Soundararajan was satisfied with the response from the BRS Government towards her recommendations made for the welfare of TSRTC employees
HYDERABAD: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has given her assent for the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into Government Service) Bill-2023.
An official statement released by Raj Bhavan on Thursday said that the Governor had thoroughly assessed the BRS Government's actions in response to her 10 recommendations, which were made in consideration of employee representations and the overall welfare of the corporation. She was satisfied with the response from the BRS Government towards her recommendations made for the welfare of employees.
Tamilisai Soundararajan extended her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all TSRTC employees as they embark on their new roles as government employees. Almost a month ago, the State Government passed the TSRTC Bill-2023 on the last day of its monsoon session after the Governor gave her permission to table the bill. With this, all the 43,055 regular employees of the corporation would be absorbed into the State Government service.
