Harish Rao criticises Congress Govt for failing to congratulate municipal staff for Swachh awards

SIDDIPET: BRS MLA Harish Rao has said that no goal can be achieved without the participation of the public.

Harish Rao honoured municipal workers on Sunday after Siddipet was identified as the cleanest South India city in Swachh Survekshan Awards.

Saluting the municipal workers, Harish said, "Am happy to celebrate Sankranti with you. The award is a matter of pride for all of us. Congratulations to the municipality, councillors and officers who worked hard for this. It is dedicated to the people of Siddipet. Without their participation, this goal couldn't have been achieved."

Blaming the Congress Government, Harish said, "Despite this recognition, the State Government hasn't come forward to congratulate all of you. This was not the culture during the rule of the BRS Government."
