Harish Rao demands recruitment of Gurukul teachers as per High Court’s order

HYDERABAD: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao expressing solidarity with the aspiring candidates, demanded the recruitment of all the vacant Gurukul teachers' posts per the High Court’s order.
Taking to X on Wednesday, he recalled that the previous BRS government had started the recruitment of 9,210 teacher posts in Gurukuls across the state to increase the standard of education.
“However, the Congress government, which came to power, acted differently, resulting in more than one job for the same candidate. Due to this, more than 2,500 teacher posts were left and the candidates were deprived of job opportunities,” he said.
He said that the Government should respond and fill the posts as per the verdict of the Telangana High Court so that there would be no backlog of posts and do justice to the candidates and the unemployed.
“It is sad that the so-called people's Government, does not see the sufferings of the candidates for Gurukul teacher posts no matter how many times the candidates pleaded in front of the CM's house,” Harish said.
He mentioned that the BRS Government established many Gurukuls to provide high-quality residential education to the children of poor, deprived, and weaker sections free of cost to ensure not a single post was left. “The aim is to fill up positions at all levels,” he observed.
