Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao has expressed anguish over the increasing incidents of murder, loot, and rapes in the state.
HYDERABAD: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao has expressed anguish over the increasing incidents of murder, loot, and rapes in the state.
Taking to X the former Minister said that last week, a man named Sanjeev was beaten to death with sticks in Utkuru mandal of Narayanpet district. “In another incident, a young man named Sameer was brutally stabbed to death in Balapur in the heart of Hyderabad,” he said.
Harish Rao said that the incident in Bhupalpally district was heinous. “Even before people could forget the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in the Peddapalli district another incident took place where one policeman tried to attack his fellow woman constable,” Harish Rao pointed out.
Condemning the series of crimes in the State which was peaceful before the Congress Government took over he demanded an immediate response from the Home Minister. He wanted legal action against the SI responsible.
“In Telangana state, which has become the address of peace and security in the last 10 years, peace has vanished within six months of the Congress party coming to power,” Harish Rao said.
