Harish Rao expresses anger over electric shock incident at Medak Gurukul
Harish Rao criticises government negligence after four students in Medak Gurukul suffer electric shock injuries.
HYDERABAD: Former Minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao has expressed his concern over the electric shock incident that injured four students at the Gurukul in Haveli Ghanpur, Medak district. He described the accident as unfortunate and criticised the staff for their negligence, which he believes is putting students' lives at risk.
Harish Rao stated that the government's indifference towards safety in such institutions is endangering the lives of children. He called for immediate action to provide the best medical treatment for the injured students and demanded that steps be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring.
Harish Rao also lashed out at the current state of Gurukul schools, comparing the situation to Congress rule, when snake bites, dog bites, rat bites, and food poisoning cases were frequent. He added that electric shocks are now being added to that list, and urged the government to wake up from its inaction and rectify the deteriorating conditions in these schools.
